Now you might think that when planning a trip to Vegas, the itinerary speaks for itself. You’re thinking casinos, bars, casinos and then maybe some more bars? Well if that is all that you plan for your trip you will be seriously missing out of some of the most fantastic opportunities in the world.
Okay let’s start off with the obvious one:
Casinos
People travel across the globe to experience the biggest selection of casinos that you could ever imagine. The list of fantastic casinos is endless, and most are attached to hotels, and you don’t even have to find the bars, they will find you with waiter service. The Las Vegas Strip consists of 4 miles of fun, lavish hotels and of course the odd opportunity for total debauchery. You saw the film The Hangover, right?
World Class Hotels
Well, Vegas can get pretty wild but if you are looking for a more civilized vacation, then book into one of the best hotels in the world and enjoy the splendor. The Bellagio is renowned across the world and has won a number of prestigious awards. Staying at the Bellagio is a full on experience, and you can even see shows like the Cirque du Soleil during your stay. You don’t have to leave the hotel, everything you need is under one roof!
The Bryce Canyon
Given the proximityto Vegas, the Bryce Canyon is worth a visit while you are in Vegas. You can get to the Bryce Canyon National Park from Vegas in around 4 hours by car, and you will get the chance to experience some stunning views. After taking in the sights, you can plan some great activities such as canyoning, white water rafting, mountain biking, quad biking and much more. To experience the joys of the area Bryce Canyon camping is the perfect way to stay.
Shows
You can book into any of the great shows that take place in Vegas. Some of the best singers and musicians have regular stints in Vegas, so you might even be able to coincide your visit with seeing one of your idols. Upcoming shows include Cirque du Soleil, Jon Bon Jovi, Cher and Britney Spears.
Observation Wheel
One of the best ways to admire the grandeur of Las Vegas is to take a trip on the 550-foot tall observation wheel. If you’re going on a romantic trip, you might want to look into the chocolate tasting experience at the LINQ or book a meal in one of the exquisite fine dining restaurants.
There is so much to do in Vegas that it would be a real shame if you spend your trip too drunk to see the sights or too hungover to make it out of your hotel room. While it is the arguably the best place to party in the world, there is so much more on offer. If you’re planning a stag do then why not mix a couple of days camping in the Canyon with a couple of days of wild partying, so you get the chance to enjoy both options?
